Julie knew early on that she wanted to practice medicine, but it was during an adventurous two year trip across India and SE Asia that she first experienced the power of medicinal plants and holistic remedies.
The idea that the human body is a part of, and subject to the laws of the natural world resonates. She completed her studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM in San Francisco in 2007, and is currently pursuing certification in the legendary style of Master Tung.
Julie loves the great outdoors. She hikes the Bay Area's endless trails as far as her chihuahua's little legs allow, takes an annual swim in the cold waters of the Yuba River every summer, and never says no to a trip to the beach.
